As the only small services business in Palantir's USG Vanguard partnership program, PVM delivers on Palantir platforms from the mission, for the mission, combining deep government DNA with unmatched Palantir expertise. We provide forward-deployed implementation, enhancement, and sustainment support, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the teams who serve our nation and helping them unlock data for good.

A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and 8(a) firm founded by a retired U.S. Naval officer, PVM reduces friction in government contracting, making it easier to access Palantir expertise quickly and adapt as mission needs evolve.

Where PVM came from

 

PVM was founded in 2010 by Pat V. Mack, a retired U.S. Naval officer who spent his career trying to get useful data into the hands of people making consequential decisions. As a technical director and acquisition leader, he watched mission teams wrestle with systems that did not match the problems they were trying to solve.

He started PVM to fix that. The first customers were former shipmates. The premise was simple: build technology services that move with the mission, not against it.

PVM is headquartered in San Diego, with a growing presence across the U.S, including offices in St. Petersburg, FL, and Huntsville, AL. PVM operates hubs locally where the mission lives—putting PVM people close to the federal missions and installations we support, with embedded delivery as the default.

 

OUR ST. PETE ROOTS

 

Pat grew up in St. Petersburg and moved PVM back to the city in 2020. PVM is a founding member of the St. Petersburg Maritime and Defense Technology Hub and the St. Petersburg Innovation District. We invest in the community through internships, mentorships, and partnership with local institutions.
